Facilities at Grange Farm Hobbies Centre


The Hobbies Centre have a range of rooms of various sizes from small meeting or office rooms, sports hall, competition grade martial arts block and at the centre of the building a large hall that can easily accommodate 150 - 200 people.

All rooms including the Main Hall can be hired on an hourly or daily basis with a minimum hire for weekends of 2hrs. Kitchen facilities are available to hire at weekends by discretion and extra fee’s apply - please ask if you need to access the kitchen during weekends.

NB. Please note that the facility capacities shown are approximate and depend on the event.

Main Hall

Capacity: 200 people
Pricing: £20.00 per hour

Tables and chairs are available for use in the Main Hall. Table sizes are 6ft x 2 1/5ft and are available to use with your booking should you require them, also all other rooms in the centre also have tables at your disposal. If you do or do not need tables setting then please let us know at the time of booking and we will ensure that things are ready for you upon your arrival.

The Gym

Capacity: 20 people

The Gym came to the Hobbies Centre in early 1965 having relocated from the town centre.

It has always been run as a non profit venue. any money made being reinvested in Gym equipment. It could be described as a “back street gym” as opposed to a profitable business gym. We are one of the cheapest in the area!

There is a choice of 12 month, or 6 months membership, to join or for more information, please contact the centre

Our gym is quiet and calm. Perfect for those who want some chill time after work!
